Fischer far-side perspective

Description

A projection contrived to give the bounding circle of a hemisphere its true distance from the center for a perspective projection onto a tangent plane.

Meridians: Straight lines radiating from the central pole in polar aspect.
Parallels: Concentric circles in polar aspect.

Similar projections

This projection is a specialization of the far-side perspective.
