Map projections as your facial profile divination

In parallel with map projections for divining your personality, here we have map projections for divining your facial profile. This inventive and amusing comic was conceived and drawn by celebrated Montréal cartoonist Jacques Goldstyn, who drew it for a poster for Carto-Québec 1983, the conference for the former Association québécoise de cartographie. It came to my attention through Ed Dahl, who had got it reprinted in Issue 51 (Summer 1990) of The Map Collector. That is I, your host, in the final frame, though Mr. Goldstyn did not know it at the time. Actually, I’m in the frame to the left of it, too. Enjoy a larger image here.
